These terms are an agreement between you and KhumoHub Inventory and POS ("KhumoHub", "we", "us"), the seller and operator of the KhumoHub service. By creating a KhumoHub account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you accept on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
1. The service
KhumoHub Inventory and POS provides inventory, point-of-sale, cash management and reporting tools. Features available to you depend on your subscription tier (Free, Pro, Growth, Group) and the role assigned to you by your store owner. We own the service and all intellectual property in it, including the software, documentation and branding; you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your chosen plan. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you capture, for keeping sign-in credentials, PINs and manager override codes confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of suspected unauthorised access.
3. Subscriptions, billing and our payment processor
Paid tiers are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and our refund policy. For billing support contact billing@khumohub.co.za.
Where a subscription is bought inside the Android app it is processed through Google Play Billing and Google's refund rules apply. In-store customer payments taken through the point-of-sale are payments for physical goods and services between you and your customer; KhumoHub is not a party to them.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully or to record fraudulent transactions.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell or attempt to bypass role and approval controls.
- Do not upload malware or attempt to access another store's data.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of your store data. We process it as described in the privacy policy and POPIA notice, and you may export it at any time in CSV or PDF format.
6. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee on the Free tier. The app includes a manager-approved offline till mode so trading can continue during connectivity loss; queued transactions sync when connectivity returns.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or stock write-offs arising from data you captured incorrectly.
8. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination you have 30 days to export your data before deletion.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
